Singer/songwriter/keyboardist/producer Mark Gersmehl (otherwise known as Gersh) has long been captivated by the arts. One of the founding members of the CCM rock group Whiteheart (2 Grammy nominations, over 20 Dove nominations, and more than 1.5 million records sold worldwide), Gersh has written 22 #1 songs for a variety of Christian artists, produced the Best New Artist Dove Award winner David Mullen's debut album, and played trombone and keyboards on tour with The Gaither Trio as well as trombone for the mainstream group the O'Jays. He has been a writer and contributor to magazines and trade journals (Billboard, CCM, and Christian Retailing) and has served as a songwriting clinician for many industry events.
